Book review: Legend

I heard so many great things about this book, but I was holding back for a while because the plot didn't caught my attention at FIRST, but OMG OMG OMG is was fantastic, such a fast read and very interesting. -“Day” the most wanted criminal the Republic wants to put their hands on. -“June” A Prodigy. The Republic’s pride and the future leader for the military. -“Day” fails his trails, and ends up in the life of crime. -“June” perfect score, and sister of the glories Captain Marias. -The plague is spreading faster and faster -Marias gets killed, and Day is the number one suspect But is everything as it really seems?! The book is written in the POV of both Day and June, and Marie lu always switches the narrator at the most perfect timing, it couldn’t be better, the change of emotions in the fighting scenes, in the drama, in the most tragedy moments; Just flawless. The Republic is very BAD, I loved hating the Republic, they are filled with evilness; maybe they put something in the food they eat to become so heartless. The solders are very machine like; they follow any order. The Republic’s elector is everything and he’s more important than anything, and the citizen are just “REPLACEABLE” Now I usually don’t care much about the love interest in every story I read, and in Legend it was kind of ridiculous and cheesy. I know Mari lu tried to make it sound as it WASN'T love from the first sight, but it was totally love from the first sight, and things between them moved very fast, and the emotions and looks between them were always in the wrong time. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure that you don’t care how beautiful your GF is, when you lost someone you care about like 5 hours ago. *thumps down* But in the other hand; the story was very complicated and crazy things happened all the time. But very believable at the same time. Marie Lu thank you for an amazing story 4 stars
