it's more like 3.5 stars
my first Rainbow Rowell book and it turned out fine, but I have some problem with people who are so messed up until they find someone to love them (someone who is not a friend or a family member)
Lincoln falls for the girl who he reads her email without her knowing. reading everyone's emails is his job, to keep the paper -he works in- going and to watch out for lazy workers. he does not Turn Beth and her friend Jennifer in no matter how much their emails get flagged; because he feels attached.
Lincoln was a sweet, kind, strong and smart guy, but i don't understand why was he messed up, he had so many amazing things in his life, his friends, his sister, his mother. but he would still look at himself like there is something wrong with him.
I loved Beth character, but i disliked some of her life decisions, but i think those decisions added a lot to the story.
The book is not very complected, it's very straight, it's something you should read in a rainy day, or when you need a break from dystopian, paranormal, sci-fi, non-fiction, and any other heavy book. it's something you read to just drift away from any other thing, it's reading someone else's life, but not a real person, not a non-fiction, cause you don't want to get so ATTACHED to the characters.
it's like switching the channels on TV and you find "You've got mail" on, and you watch because it's exactly what you need in the meantime. (I'm actually a big fan of: you got mail)
next rainbow Rowell is going o be Fan girl... probably
